Field Trip, Garlic, Fall, & Party

The kids and I had a field trip to the Fremont PD a few weeks ago that was really fun. They were able to actually get into a cop car and hear the LOUD siren. We were also able to see Auntie Teresa who works there (always a joy to see her smiling face:):)

We have a spot in our back yard that is a perfect spot for a garden. It is a little fenced area that is even hooked up with sprinklers. We didn't get a garden planted in the spring/summer, but we decided that we would see what kinds of things you could grow in the winter......and we found one....GARLIC! So, the kids and Charley planted some garlic plants. They are actually growing and doing pretty good.

For one of the boys math lessons, we had to find a tree that changes with the seasons (i.e. colors, etc.) Our trees in our yard don't really change colors, but I was seeing red leaves on my front lawn so I knew that there must be one in our area. I found it! OOOHHHH! Look at those colors! Gorgeous! I love Fall. I think it is my new favorite season:)

On Sunday we surprised the Robertsons with a 25th Anniversary surprise party at our house. The Robertson kids put the whole thing together....you did a great job guys!! The whole church was invited so, needless to say, we had a lot of people in our house. I think there was between 65-70 people that came. And.....they were actually surprised! They had no incling that anything was happening.

Happy 25th Anniversary Don and Krista!

May the Lord bless you with many, many more years to serve Him together.

Well, that's it....I think I'm fully caught up on my blogging....at least until this next weekend:):)
