Graduation 2009

Well...after a long summer of "catching up", we finally finished on August 28th. Yeah!! On Sept. 4th, we celebrated the kids graduation with special awards, completion of grade awards, and then a trip to Chuck E Cheese for all of their hard work throughout the year.
Kristina was awarded with the "Junior Baker Award" since she learned how to bake this year...which...I might add...was a HUGE help for me on Wednesday nights when we had small group. Thanks Honey!

Abby's award was for "Love for Reading". She is loving reading now and that is making Teacher Mommy VERY happy:):)

Even Buster wanted to watch the festivities. He was impressed!

Joshua got an award for "Industriousness/Diligence". Sometimes he just blows my socks off! When he is given his work, he gets it done! Good Job Jog!!

Caleb's award was for "Perseverance". In the last month of school, Caleb had to become a left-handed boy...eating and writing with his non-broken arm. He complained only one time at the very beginning and that was it! He was a trooper. Good Job Caleb!

And last, but definitely not least, Anna received her reward for "Playing by herself in a good way while Mommy taught the older kids". Have I ever mentioned what a blessing it is to have a 5th child who actually LIKES to play by herself? BLESSING! Especially for this homeschooling mom.

Teacher Mommy with her class of AMAZING students.
Good Job Kids! Mommy and Daddy are very proud of you!!

We've been invaded!

We have been invaded! First we were invaded by army men...... (thanks to Caleb:)

Then....the Transformers arrived!

AND...we were also invaded by the Greenhouse's....we REALLY enjoyed that invasion though:):)
